Elders

I have been married to Jamie since 2009, and we have 6 children.  I have helped lead small house church groups for about a decade and love to see the church grow and flourish. I’m passionate about seeing people grow in their walk with Jesus and laboring alongside others. I also enjoy camping, spending time with family and being a part of our kid’s activities.

I have been married to my lovely wife, Karen, for sixty years. We have two children and two wonderful granddaughters. I graduated from Bible College with honors and pastored in Louisiana and California, and spent some time with para-church organizations. I then spent 34 years as a Registered Investment Advisor before retiring in 2024. During these years I became involved with Disciple Making Movement efforts in San Diego County. We moved to Edmond in August of 2022.

I retired 17 years ago as Construction Administrator with Oklahoma Department of Corrections after 27 years of service, designing and building needs for new and existing facilities.  I was married for 52 years before my wife, Anita, lost her battle with cancer.  We both gave our hearts to the Lord the same day and have served the Lord ever since from Children’s ministries, home group leaders, missionaries trips, teaching and training to include prophetic ministries and helped start three different churches.  I have 3 Children, 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

Matt has been married to Cristie since (Y2K) 2000 and we have 4 wonderful children. I am a PK and was brought up in church. I love music, administration, spreadsheets and have worked in finance/accounting for 20+ years. My wife (best friend) and I have served the body of Christ from a very young age and really love people deeply. Our goal is to point people to Jesus in ALL that we do, say, and believe that He makes the change. We surely aren’t perfect but strive for holiness. We are both passionate about community, spiritual gifts and love praying for people. We just want to be used as God wants. We love serving Jesus together and have led house churches, prayer, youth and kid’s ministries as well as a recent season of counseling.

Michael has been married since 2004 to Alicia Rowntree, whom he met in Scotland on a study abroad trip. They have four kids: Anna, Hudson, William, and Molly. He loves to think deeply, read widely, and laugh heartily. His hobbies include playing golf and sharpening his Spanish with native speakers.

Michael has been in ministry for over twenty years, serving Wellspring Church for seventeen years (ten as the Lead Pastor), and Bridgeway for two years, before planting Convergence Church—a “church of house churches.” Michael is also a co-host on The Remnant Radio, which educates and equips believers in God's Word & Spirit, exploring Christian theology, church history, and the gifts of the Spirit in a manner that is engaging and relatable.

No matter where he has served, God has consistently used him as a teacher, a pastor, and a leader. As a teacher, he loves to study God’s Word and bring it to life in a way that displays God’s beauty and desire for friendship. As a pastor, his heart beats for the sheep—to nurture them faithfully and compassionately. As a leader, Michael focuses much of his time on raising up and equipping leaders.

Sinner saved by grace. He’s not dead, yet.

Sam has devoted nearly 50 years to Christian ministry, both as a pastor and professor. He and his wife Ann have been married for 54 years and have two daughters and four grandchildren. Sam has written 40 books and is passionately committed to the local church as the primary means through which Christ Jesus is magnified and his people are edified. He enjoys reading, writing, preaching God’s Word and spending time with his grandchildren.
